With the discovery of the strange nebula, the Vanguard set headings and made her way toward it. The science team worked in main engineering to boost power to the sensor pallets. With millions of data being poured into the main computer it was clear something was strange about this nebula. With information and hails ranging from long years to days, they will decipher it later.

Two Ferum ships have arrived the same time that the Ferum mole decided to act. The mole has locked down a section of main engineering and dropped the ships shields. In addition weapons have gone off line and the two opposing ships just opened fire on the Vanguard.
