About Vanguard

This is role playing game in which players assume the roles of that on a Federation starship.  Similar to the episodes on television, each week will feature a new ‘episode’. Some games will go on more than just one week, but the idea of continuing plot for the overall game will be tendered by the hosts.

Being a live played game, all the players will meet once a week in a room dedicated for the gameplay. The game will last about an hour and will generally include a welcome, news for the game, that nights plot update, the game play followed by last minute notes and dismissal. 

The mian-line plot is pre-done by the games' two hosts. The actual events though is spontaneous and everything is independently improved played by the players. So, yes, there is a certain outcome but it can be and sometimes has variants due to this mass-creativity. 

Looking ahead, Season 2
 

You’ve read about what happened now take a moment to follow up on a preview of what might come. There will be a new ship indeed. The Vanguard was to small for what she will uncover and in order to continue on her quest, an upgrade was sent in. We wont disclose yet what the new ship will be but it is going to be the USS Vanguard NCC 74755-A.



What are were looking for?
The game itself, is a bit fast-paced. So were in search of players who enjoy the challenge of being able to keep momentum , focused character developments and just want to have fun. A few players left the game untimely and they will be missed greatly; but were always welcoming and jump at the chance to meet fresh, innovated players.   



Marines

Security Officer- Well there are two posts within this one. The Vanguard operates a special task force and all security officers can be eligible to join. They must first demonstrate a great sense of dedication and able to pass a field test showcasing the knowledge and use of weapons and tactics. It’s a Security and Marine mixture that suits well for the Vanguard. We have some very nice shuttles and interesting away missions to sink your teeth into.

Medical

Medical- Ever want to be a healer, heres your chance! Looking for skilled nurses, field medics, assistant doctors or anyone intereseted in the medical area.

Cadets/Yoeman

Cadets/Yoeman- Yes its more of a floater role. Why not try something different and start yourself out as this un-played role. Be the person who fills in when need be and throw in diversity into your nights. There is nothing such as a full ship, and if all main players are present, your freedom of department will be yours to pick. So let something be new into your normal routine, and try this post.
