Recent plot development was uncovered as Vanguard discovers information about a alien race unknown to the Federation. They possess some type of weaponry against the Borg. A certain gossip that a Ferum may be among them causes some slight paranoia.

The ship had a threat-free span of time, and habitual work had become….routine. Needless to say something was desired to throw into the mix of daily life and that plea was answered with a call from a nebula. Sensors read it to be a strange phenomena with hundreds of relayed messages flooding the logs and data being subject to download….what is the cause? We commence the game with the crew doing the normal day. Were within a few hours of the nebulas position.
